Overview:

The Woodshop Guy, a small business in central Wisconsin, creates custom wood furniture (and at times guitars!) for customers near and far. His work accentuates the natural beauty of the wood while paying homage to where it came from.

I wanted to do the same in the logo — focusing on the grain and beauty of the wood while adding typography that was cutting and masculine. A final slash of blue adds grounding to the logo but also an edge similar to a cut in the wood.
