BIAA the Essential Brain Injury Guide textbook and study companion
Overview:
When our longtime clients Brain Injury Association of America (BIAA) asked us if we’d be interested in helping them with a revised edition of their textbook, “The Essential Brain Injury Guide,” of course we said, “Yes!”
The Essential Brain Injury Guide 6.0 features updated information about brain injury treatment, statistics, references, and resources.
The goal of the revision was to not only meticulously update the 400+-page textbook to better align with the established BIAA branding, but to also increase the level of accessibility throughout the book so that applicants with learning disabilities are able to participate in ACBIS training.
This was a special project in the history of Ratkaj Designs for a few reasons. Not only was this our largest project in the history of our agency, but it was also our first project that was going to be used specifically to help readers study for the CBIS (Certified Brain Injury Specialist) exam.
We’re especially proud of work on this one—thank you to our clients at BIAA for giving us the opportunity to work on a piece that will be helpful to those treating brain injuries in the future.
