Prairie Ridge Health Live It! Branding
Overview:
Prairie Ridge Health, an acute care hospital and clinics with its headquarters in Columbus, Wisconsin, has a mission to provide personalized, high-quality healthcare, wellness, and education in a compassionate environment.
One of Prairie Ridge’s pillars is nutrition education, particularly when it comes to children and young adults. One of these programs is the “Live It!” Program, a program for students ages 10-12. When they reached out to us and asked us to help them with a comprehensive branding update for the program, we knew it was an opportunity to design a visual branding that mirrored how the program has evolved to encompass a broader spectrum of health-related topics, including mindfulness, mental health, physical fitness, and safety.
By addressing these critical aspects of health, Prairie Ridge Health endeavors to foster a culture of self-awareness and proactive health management among young individuals. Through engaging and interactive educational initiatives, Live It! seeks to inspire students to prioritize their well-being and make informed choices that contribute to a healthier lifestyle.
We created a concept that draws inspiration from the idea of a “battle cry” — a unified expression of a group exclamation and the camaraderie forged through shared knowledge. We loved this branding as it's exactly what Prairie Ridge is hoping to do with the students who work through it’s program: to create excitement and rally them around the goal of proactive health management and well-being.
Through typography that exudes feelings of hope and optimism, embracing and centering the exclamation point to add a dose of energy, and a speech bubble treatment that moves beyond the dissemination of information to creating a true “battle cry” for wellness, we’re excited to see how the program grows in the future!
