Community Spirit Award
Overview:
The Community Spirit Award honors two outstanding individual from financial institutions in Indiana and Michigan that has shown a commitment to affordable housing and community development. These individuals are advocates for their communities and have used FHLBank Indianapolis programs to improve the lives of those around them. In addition to the recognition, FHLBank Indianapolis makes a donation in the recipient's honor to a nonprofit organization or charity of their choice.
When designing this branding I was inspired by three ideas: Celebration, community and the individuals receiving this honor. This translated to the sunburst graphic which can be loosely interpreted as confetti, buildings in a skyline or two individuals who stand up above others. The typography is simple and approachable while balanced by the arched Award line at the bottom to mirror the sunburst above. Colors were kept in the parent branding colors established for FHLBank Indianapolis with the addition of a berry purple color for this program.
