CLIENT:
Badger Bots

INDUSTRY:
Education

Overview:

Badget Bots offers some of the coolest collaborative STEM education ever! They host robotics competitions, summer camps, classes, a Lego league, and more. They do a lot of exciting stuff to enrich STEM education for kids, and they needed a new branding to reflect that mission.

They teach kids some complex concepts, so I wanted their new branding to be equally intricate. I created the primary logo out of the very coding elements they teach in classes. I made a versatile pattern that reflects every aspect of what they do: gears, math symbols, circuits, chemistry elements, and even a little Lego brick! Even the colors are super intentional; light blue is the color of knowledge and success, and orange is the color of confidence. The primary font is clean, easy-to-read, and youthful, while the font I paired with it is more mechanical and robotic. I created a secondary mark in a gear specifically for stickers and other merch. Every aspect of the brand goes back to their four pillars: Build, Develop, Create, and Inspire. Above all else, I wanted to make sure that the branding was FUN. It's not academic or stuffy; it's vibrant and engaging – just like Badger Bots.
