Tinker&Bark Branding

PROJECT TYPE
Branding

CLIENT:
Tinker & Bark

INDUSTRY:
Pets

Overview:

Founded by e-commerce consultant @Meghan Lundy in 2019, Tinker & Bark set out to tackle a big goal: create a dog collar that helps reverse climate change while giving back to those in need. Not only is their sustainable dog gear made from recycled water bottles, but they also donate 25% of their net proceeds to help families impacted by Autism get service dogs of their own!

When Meghan reached out to inquire about designing a look that would capture these twin missions, I immediately said yes. Whenever I get the opportunity to help another woman-owned small business discover their visual identity, I have to take it!

I made sure Tinker & Bark's ethos was reflected in their branding by balancing playful and purposeful elements. The earthy, jewel-toned color palette works alongside a cheeky main pattern featuring only pups from approved Autism service dog breeds to communicate Tinker & Bark's commitment not just to the environment but also to the Autism community. I even designed the "&" in Tinker & Bark with these commitments in mind, placing their cornerstone product, the eco-friendly dog collar, front and center within their brand mark.
