She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a Master of Education from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.

Her and her husband are the proud (and slightly obsessed) pet parents of two lovable doodles—Charlie, their goofy Bernedoodle, and Libby, their sweet and sassy Goldendoodle. They are always outside, playing and running with them.
